YES this can happen in 4 months. Margarito is the champ right now ppl, so if he loses to Mosley then Mosley is champ. Berto-Mosley for unfied and reconzied champ. it could really happen. now if Margarito beats Moslet then none of this happens, but if Mosley wins, Berto-Mosley can be going down by May!! Mosley already said that Berto would be a tougher fight than Margarito because he knows Margarito is gonna just stand in front of him and eat punches, while Berto will have a speed advangte and has goood power too, not to mention young and has showed alot of heart ( Collazo fight). so it could be going down in May ppl and Berto could win that fight. now Mosley would be favord but who cares, can Berto really be unfied and reconzied champ by May??? what do you guys think, of course its all on Mosley beating Margarito.
I disagree. I think Mosley is a very good match up for berto. I still think Mosley wins but berto has a good shot. Margarito or clottey both beats berto easy but i do think Berto can beat mosley via close decision.
really no shot guys!! you telling me Berto has no shot to beat Mosley?? no you guys are tripping because he fought a top 10 WW and a southpaw. even Mosley thinks it would be a tough fight, and guys dont. I dont know about that, I give Berto a chance to beat Mosley.
Then he better not fight Cotto, Margo, Williams (if he comes back), I actually think Cintron would put him out bad...but he just left WW. Floyd would embarass him if he ever comes back. But I'd really like to see Cotto fight him, that would be a brutal beating. Oh and Clottey beats him as well.
Mosley, Margarito, Cotto and Clottey all beat Berto. As a Shane fan, I want Shane to fight Berto after he beats Margarito. Margarito vs. Cotto II and then the winers fight. Sweeet!
The original question is irrellavent because the answer depends on Mosely beating Margo. I like Shane a lot, but I think Margarito/Mosely will be Shane's last hurrah as a major player in the sport.
Floyd is retired. PW's last fight was at 154, and his next fight is at 160, so he is aparrently done at '47. Tony already beat Cotto. So who is left.
