According to a site that has boxing scenery, Schaefer maybe now looking to replace Margarito with Berto to fight Mosley on Jan 24th. One of Dibella's obstacles will be to discuss a possible buyout of his current agreement with Don King for Berto to face his mandatory Collazo.

I definitely think it's time for Berto to face tougher challenges and either Mosley or Collazo would give him just that. :happy

Hallelujah! This is perfect for BERTO to emerge and get some media hype! Also, on the flipside, this is perfect for Sugar Shane...a title fight.

Maybe MArgarito versus Collazo? Hopefully something nice until we see the rematch, Williams vs Margarito 2

Ideally this would now pave the way for a Margarito/PTP rematch but since that probably won't happen I hoping for a Margarito/Clottey rematch instead.

A shot Mosley beats a still green-behind-the-ears Berto. :yep

Berto-Mosley is a great stylstic matchup. Both have tremendously quick punches and both have KO power....I would expect this fight to be a FOTY canidate.

Yeah, I think it'll be fun. I actually can envision the young lion utilizing his youth, speed and power towards victory. I can also imagine Sugar Shane finishing what Cosme Rivera started with the kd.

There's different levels of a shot fighter. The level that Mosley is on, based on his lackluster performance against Mayorga, I'd say he's right on the fence of being upset by the young lion that is Berto. I anticipate that if this fight comes to fruition, that fight fans will be in for a competitive and exciting fight that features a young undefeated underdog champion supplanting a legend.

A fight Berto can win cuz he may be catching Shane at the right time, however, I think its smarter for them to let Berto fight someone not as good. I think Berto is still improving and a few more fights under his belt first is a good thing. Why risk it? What is the rush? If he beats Shane the flood gates open and he has to get in there with the top dogs. Is he ready? Not as ready as he will ever be IMO.

Great matchup. Andre has to be on point defensively to win this one.
