How is that bro when Berto is now a titlist? its either now or never for this kid.

I expect this fight to go down ... i'm sure if Lou Dibella was strongly considering him to fight for the WBC belt (against PBF) then i'm sure that he's not going to look at Collazo any different.

He was catching Mosley and was doing a pretty good job until he hurt his hand.

Hatton got dominated the second half of the fight ... once he seen that Hatton was walking into **** - he side step him and busted him up.

so you would have Cotto in the fight against Margarito because Cotto has the same advantages you pointed out - against "Tony"

If Collazo struggled like he did against Hatton, I can't see him beating Berto. Collazo hasn't had a good win since the El Gallo fight. For some reason, he keeps getting propped up because of his losses. Somehow, losing proves that Collazo is a really good fighter.

Berto's chin is dentable, but Collazo probably doesn't pack enough pop to hurt him

I think Collazo got screwed (2) twice during his career ... that KO loss to Cassiani was a premature stoppage (i seen that fight) ... and the decision loss to Hatton is highly questionable.

And he gave Mosley a helluva fight before hurting his hand and still managed to walk out of the ring with a decision loss.

He almost got shut out against Mosley, and struggled against Hatton. You talk about Berto's chin and defense. However, his chin and defense are better than Hatton's. He's faster than Hatton, and hits harder as well. Fact of the matter is, Collazo has not had a good win since the El Gallo fight. He's a nice fighter, but Berto could definately beat him.

The Collazo of the Hatton fight would beat Berto, but I would be worried about what kind of shape he would show up in if the fight was in a few months. Anyone know what's happening with Collazo?

Berto doesn't have Hatton's rough housing inside attack though. Collazo could dominate him from the outside and prevent Berto from doing anything inside as well. Berto would have a lot of trouble adjusting to Collazo in this fight, more than Hatton did.
