I was wondering about this. It's a week on Friday at 9:30 so not gonna be live.

This should be a cracking fight actually. Both good boxers.

Wonder why sky have shown an interest in this one though?

its sky sports, 6 days later is a joke.

FNF there have been some poor ones and some good ones.

Frank Warrens are usually good, Maloneys are hit and miss and the others are awful.

FFN has generally been **** poor this year.

Too many English and Commonwealth title fights as main events. Don't mind those as backup bouts, but we should have a British or European title fight on every show.

The undercards are crap as well.

Fighter A PTS Fighter B all night long..... **** matchmaking. Employing guys that like taking 12 minute bike rides every week.

Bout ****ing time sky showed a world title fight that we dont have to pay to see even if it is delayed. Hope they show more live fights from america.

There has not been an English title as main event on FNF this year. Please name it?

What you gotta realise is that there are only 15 British Tiles to be fought for. Sky have contract with Warren, Maloney and Hearn. Hayemaker and Hennesey have contracts elsewhere. So lets say at a max, theres 10 british champions avalible to Sky Promoters, and the max they will fight a year is 4 times, thats 40 shows, therefore you need to fill up the other 10 friday night in a year. You also have the European title and the Commonwealth titles. In allot of cases the CW is also held by the british champion. One of the best FFN of the year was Ricky Burns vs Gomez for example.

Personally i think there a more good shows, but also more bad shows.

Frank Warrens shows always have the best prospects but the main events are always one sided mismatches. He is alos having to put allot of potential FFN fights onto his PPV bills (Hall vs Small and Chisora vs Williams would be great FFN main events)

Maloney seems to push his fighters more towards Euro title but due to his lack of fighters puts on some crap main events (Edwards for the Flyweight title). He is also being forced to put allot of decent fights on PPV bills (Moore, Williams, Munroe could all Main Event FFN)

Hearn's shows are dire, apart from Prizeifghter which seems to have moved to Tuesdays.
