Berto wants to unify with the IBF titleholder. The only way to do that though would be to fight on Showtime. However, Showtime will only put him on there if it's a two fight deal. If it's a two fight deal then Showtime would want Berto to fight the Peterson/Bradley winner should he get by Hlatswayo(the IBF WW champ).

Yea and we all know why Berto wants to unify vs the ibf champ cause Hlat is an easy opponent for Berto win another bs title belt. Berto beat a bum fighter to win the wbc title in which he cry about and now he wants to unify so badly vs another easy opponent.

Berto badly wants to fight Mosley. However, HBO wants to have that fight in late January. Dibella wants Berto to fight in the interim but HBO isn't willing to give him a date until January. Fans love to **** on these fighters and question their motives. However, there's a very intricate business side to this sport that hampers a lot of these matchups. Berto is 26. He has plenty of time to get the big fights. Right now he needs to stay active and keep working on his game.

If he wants to be active then fight Collazo again in the rematch. Stop with "it's enough money" excuse. Berto don't deserve alot of money in the first place but hbo and promoters keeps paying him more money in which again he don't deserve cause he hasn't beat a very good fighter yet. The only real fighter Berto face was Collazo in which many thought Berto lost that fight.

First off, Berto doesn't even decide whom he fights. That's entirely up to DiBella. Second, Collazo's side is allegedly the one holding up the fight by asking for much more money than they got in the first fight. Now what the hell has Collazo done to deserve more money? Not a damn thing, that's what. He continues to live off his losses instead any acutal wins.

Not only Collazo but Berto as well. Hbo only offer less money for Berto vs Collazo rematch but Berto won't budge cause he don't want to get pay less money in which again he don't deserve alot of money. You're right about Collazo don't deserve alot of money that he wanted as well. I hate changing the subject but this is again proving why ufc is getting more attention then boxing cause boxing you hear more fighters complain about money and all that bs.

Stop right there. No promoter in his right mind would allow his fighter(who is the reigning champ) to participate in a rematch for less money than he got in the first fight. Yeah, the business side of boxing is definately hurting the sport. However, it is what is. To **** on fighters because of this is ridiculous. Berto has very little, if any control over whom he fights.

Oh man, LOL. Peterson has fought absolutely nobody. He will be exposed like Ortiz and Angulo once he steps in the ring with Bradley.

I have no disputes with the Showtime scenario. As a Berto supporter, I see this as an opportunity to unify two major titles and then perhaps fight the best JWW. Considering HBO has pretty much forced his hand, headlining 2 main events on Showtime seems to be a advantageous plan B imo.

Nothing really wrong with the fights. But it's crazy that this guy is wearing a belt.
