And still,a champion at this hot division picks a jr welter to defend his title.
    Isn't it funny?

Because anyone with eyes can see the gulf in class is way too large. What has Bundrage ever done but beat a shot to **** Spinks and a never was Powell who he previously got KO'd by? Bundrage is the sloppiest fighter I have ever seen hold a belt, it's a disgrace to the sport that some casual is gonna tune in and hear that this bar room brawler is a "champ". He doesn't have a good chin either! Berto is going to destroy him, bet the house on it. He's too slow and open and if you're a bit chinny Berto is not the dude you wanna fight. Again I've never been a Berto fan and I'm even less of a fan since the positive test but he's a solid B+ fighter which is much more than I can say for K-9 the seal clubber. I'm so confident I will bet you (who i consider a decent poster) and that ***** boy Bazooka a lifetime ban bet.

You'll see in due time mate.

I just don't think you should bet your farm on a fighter who has a leaky defense and no legs, who is also jumping up a weight class after a solid time of inactivity and an injury.

Berto has a fighting heart, and thats what I think will get him in trouble here.

there's always the chance of a hail mary seal clubbing punch landing but Berto's speed + power is too much for K-9's sloppiness, chin and slowness. It's gonna be a destruction of K-9 and it's gonna end early. I don't see it lasting past 5.

The same reason I wouldn't bet on Berto is largely the one I wouldn't bet on Bundrage.

Although, I would quite happily take a one month avatar bet.

Me, too. He's actually a really cool guy in person. I see him at the gym and at local boxing events in Detroit and he comes across as a generally nice guy. Always has time for the fans, especially kids.

Not an exciting match-up, as I don't care about either of these guys and the winner isn't going anywhere, but while it's happening the action between the ropes will be exciting.

(sort of my same feelings on the ill-fated Ortiz vs. Berto rematch)

Should be a nice scrap, one I definitely will watch. 154 has a lot of good fight options, lets hope we get some of them to actually materialize.

Berto will make Bundrage look like the old journeyman that he is.
