Berto is a 5-1 favorite!!! Very surprising...A lot bigger favorite than I expected. Makes me think that the books know somn bout collazo that we don't know.

    Thoughts?

That may very well be. I would say Berto should be a 2-1 favorite but nothing more. Should be a good fight though, I'd like to see Berto win and continue his success towards a title shot.

Collazo is about +375 from what I've seen, as well as higher. Yeah, S57, sometimes the oddsmakers make me feel like they do in fact know something I don't know. Definately here, because it's hard to see Berto winning this from a technical tutorial standpoint. The tape says nothing but Collazo wins smart, or Berto wins on some intangible or luck. The odds are a joke, IMO, as well as a brilliant opportunity.

+475 and +500 have been floating around out there as well.

And that's on Berto action (on the increase). Apparently some folks agree with you.

Fate kept me out of Vegas - I was going there, set, on thursday. I guess I'll find out why.. Collazo people are flying in from different planets in their UFO's for this one. They say there's free money in Vegas. It'll be like the UN out there. Everybody's ready. Sportsbook is ****ed.

The odds are very surprising. Based on the opinions on this board, maybe he should be about a 2/1 favorite but not 5/1. Maybe the oddsmakers do know something just like maybe they knew something in the DLH/Pacman fight when DLH was only at +165.

Nah, the bookies don't know anything. When Santos fought Alcine, he was a huge underdog too, and won. It doesn't happen a lot, but sometimes there really are good fights to bet on and this is one of those times where it would be possible to win some good money if you bet on Collazo.

I meant -165. It was still a very small margin.
