We need at least one public poll for this thing. Who wins?

I have to agree, Collazo's superior dynanicism is going to be a deciding factor in this one.

The chances are decent, RH. Alot better than most people think at this point. Collazo's power is fairly modest, but he throws A grade counter punches that have stunning force behind them. Berto's punch resistance is a question mark. Some say worse than that. Collazo is the type of fighter who makes his opposition pay for tactical mistakes and defensive lapses. Berto is the type of fighter who makes tactical mistakes and has defensive lapses. I'll be very surprised if Collazo doesn't land some highlight reel stuff on Berto, that's expected. It's a question of how well Berto takes the punches.

Curious that there are no lines up for this fight, but there are already lines for Mosely-Margo a week later.

Definitely want to see this fight, ougtha be a good one. The young, hungry, champ who feels the sky is the limit vs. the very skilled, athletic, and experienced veteran.

Agreed, I've been looking for the last few days consistently.

Nothing on Bodog, Sportsbook, or any of the other sites. Nothing.

For sure i totaly agree san, he posses dangerous slick counter punching ability, berto has not been tested by a guy this slick and tacticaly aware

saying that this is the perfect fight for berto to rise to and announce he is a top welterweight becuase for me personaly he is the underdog
and we will see what he is made off

    This is a great match.

I see a close tactical contest which could go either way on the cards. I think Bertos confidence and the fact this is his sternest test so far will pull him through.

Berto by a tight decision, possibly split.

Andre Berto seems to be being kept at arms length by the majority of American fans one here probably because they have had their fingers burnt by the likes of Pavlik, Lacy etc, but personally I think he has a better all round skillset than any of those guys and is a better fighter imo. Problem with Berto is unlike the other american up n comers, he is in a deep division, where being 'good' isnt enough to get him to the number 1 spot. Collazo is the best fight for him to take at this stage, lookin forward to it..

I think Berto will win pretty damn easily, but that's just me.

interesting how the votes has shot up for berto, as i said before he needs to rise to the occasion and up his game, prove his worth becuase he is young and there are still question marks at world level.
those will be aswerd in this fight

    Tough one this.

Easilly Berto's sternest test. Collazo is a very good, underatted fighter. He will show Berto things he hasn't seen before and will make Berto pay for the mistakes he does make.

Collazo doesn't have a great KO % but like someone else said he can hurt and stun you. He had the usually, up untill then, solid chinned Ricky Hatton all over the place in their fight. If he can do that to Hatton then he can certianly do that, or worse, to Berto.

My problem with Collazo is inactivity, which i believe was down to injury. Since losing to Mosley nearly 2 years ago (if i remember right Collazo claimed he injured himself in this fight) he has fought just twice against woeful competition. I missed these fights. Can someone tell me how he got on please? I know he won but how did he look?
