Dang what a fight that would be, but if Cotto uses his legs and angles like he did vs. Mosley plus a quick, snappy jab, he can win. Berto is gonna use his speed and power adv, but I think Cotto still has the coolness and experience to keep Berto humble. A flash knockdown of Cotto wouldnt surprise me, but I'm sure with someone as hungry as Berto it will be competitive till the very end. Both fighters are extremely dangerous when they are hurt, probably moreso Berto. Not until Berto destroys a worthy opponent will I think he can beat Cotto, but for now Cotto will put his first loss in his record.

Cotto knocks him out Zab Judah style. Cotto hits the deck early but breaks Berto down.

Cotto, but Berto has a chance for sure.

Best fight for Andre right now, tbqh.

Berto brings fast, heavy pressure and that is Cotto's wolfsbane.

Berto is faster, got more power, and has more physical gifts. Cotto's best days are behind him and while I think he would make it interesting early, eventually Berto breaks him down with speed and power. I like both fighters, I just think Berto's youth and explosive athletic ability would be too much for the shop worn vet. Cotto is done on the elite level (IMO), now is Berto "elite" probably not yet, but a win over Cotto might establish that he belongs there. Really good fight, and would pay to see it.

Cotto wins because Pac has already beat him, and it helps in making Berto "unworthy", which in turn allows Manny to keep getting a pass fighting 37 year old guys that can't match his speed, or power. Bottom line, these cats discredit Berto, not because Berto is a bad fighter, but because Manny's team doesn't want to fight him and opposed to them having to face the fact that it's because he COULD present Manny some problems, it's because he's not "good enough"/"doesn't have a big enough name" etc. So they "**** on" Berto and lift up Cotto so we can get another bull**** match up between Manny and some polished up can, as opposed to him fighting the guys who are good enough to really push him (Berto, Alexander, Bradley, Khan, PBF, Martinez, Williams).
