Dumbass rewatch the damn fight and see that Berto was the one hurting Collazo to the body in the fight and it was a hard fought battle that Andre won, he's undefeated and Collazo is no easy win, especially for a young upcoming Berto at the time, just like the close fight Oscar had with Quartey when Oscar was in his prime,

You say he was hurt but other than round one i never saw him hurt again, fighters like B-Hop, Marvin Hagler and many others had tough fights against lesser fighters early in their careers and even lost, same with Manny Pacquiao who lost twice to lesser fighters, so whats your point on this Collazo hurt Berto Bull****?

Cotto. Berto lost to Calazzo. Pac will knock Berto out, there is a chance Pac will fight Berto, if Void keeps refusing.

you comparing Quartey to Collazo??? Hurt doesnt mean he went down! He was getting out fought inside in the early rounds and was stopped in his tracks a couple of times by a couple of uppercuts. Now Bertos got heart and he fights back but this is from light hitting Collazo, the amount of body shots he was able to throw against Berto shows that Cotto would have a feast day.

Hagler and all these fighters you mentioned had sound technique. Berto is at a point that youre not going to improve the way he fights much more and that is throw speedy powerful wide punches whilst leaving himself open for any counter.

I like him he is good for boxing but hes got so many holes in his game, you go punch wide going head straight into a fighter like Cotto let alone Pacquaio who will give you angles, Hes a KO waiting to happen.

I just had to go rewatch this fight on youtube and it was a very sloppy performance by Berto, now round 1 when Berto was so called hurt, he got hit by a good str8 left hand, but he was off balance due to him tripping over Collazo foot.

Later in round 1 Berto hurt Collazo with a str8 right hand and followed up with 3 more good punches, Berto was controlling round 1 before he got hit with that str8 left and he finished the round stronger.

I gave Berto round 1,2,5,7,8,11,12 with him winning 114-113, and all those rounds were clearly won by Berto.

Collazo physically showed he was hurt more during the fight especially to the body, Berto landed the harder shots throughout while Collazo thru weak punches and threw in a few shoe-shine flurries that were less than effective and mostly missed or grazed Berto's body.

Now as i said Berto was sloppy, wild and also clinched too much in the fight but he did enough to win, he was less experienced and looks like he was poorly trained but he looks better now and everyone has a bad fight even the ATG's.

I suggest you watch the fight without any bias and you will see what i saw a 1 point win for Berto which was the score on two official scorecards.

And no i don't think Collazo's better than Quartey, but neither will be a Hall of Famer or ATG.

Except Berto isn't as defensively sound or durable as Clottey...Or really as good as Clottey in general, imo. I'd back Clottey to beat Berto really. Cotto as well.

LOl I think Berto won that fight clear. He landed the harder shots and showed tremendous resolve. Its his damn winging punches that gets to me. Yet at the same time he throws beautiful short shots. Hes the type of fighter who cant help himself and very undisciplined. Yes he needs a better trainer.

Look I love Berto, hes a nice guy and he fights toe to toe. Tons of heart. All Im saying is he needs to be more active and get his game refined. He ****n loses to Cotto now, hed pretty much be finished in everyones eyes. I would put him in there with someone hes got some stylistic advantage against like a current version of Mosley or even a Clottey. Margo also. Then he can build up a fight with PAc or Floyd.

YOU **** on Cotto because he's not black?! Funny u mention Martinez & Khan because u had to..... time to integrate and stop being a hater/racist.. BTW, Cotto and any other good WW/LMW would spank that ass like there's no tomorrow, including but not limited to Clottey, Margo, Foreman (yes, Foreman),Kirkland, Cintron, Williams, Angulo (good fight) and a few more... Wouldn't pay a dime to see a slick african american like Berto get KO'd in 3 or less by paquiao. :smooch
