The winner has to fight Floyd after, there's no other meaningful alternative at 147 if Cotto loses to Pac..

Shouldn't have went the distance? Nobody at 140 or 147 should be expected to knock Urango out. Outclass him, okay. But not knock him out. That guy is a tank. May get knocked out but at this point to EXPECT him to be knocked out, not a smart expectation.

Yeah...and anybody with a title would also be meaningful too. No division is ever so bad that there's only one or two meaningful matches. None. Ever.

Urango was an opponent who was suppose to make berto look like a world beater. all i saw was things that people that watch mma enjoy. hugging, cuddling, and holding. tyson's built like a tank too, how do you explain getting koed by douglas, and holyfield. i won't count lewis since tyson was already shot. i wasn't expecting a ko from berto but i was expecting him to out class him to the point urango would be bruised and bloodied and quit, just from accumaliton of fast accurate shots similar to peters-klitchko.speaking of that peter is built like a tank too.

For the part that I underlined:

My disagreement was only based around your assertion that it shouldn't have gone the distance, not that fighters who are built sturdy don't get knocked out or anything that ridiculous. I'm not sure why you chose to argue the latter, a point which I wasn't even thinking, let alone attempting to make-unless you wanted a straw man argument. Did anybody say Tyson shouldn't go the distance with Holyfield and Douglas, by the way? Silly examples to arguments I didn't make, once again.

Then you say you weren't expecting a straight knockout, you were just expecting... that which would be considered a technical knockout- Urango quitting. A stoppage is a stoppage. I disagreed originally that there should be an expectation of a stoppage to your original statement that it shouldn't have gone the distance-that Berto should have stopped Urango. I didn't imply that you specified a straight knockout. Stopping your fighter is stopping your fighter. I disagree that Berto should've stopped Urango and that he failed a test he should've passed there.

As for the part that wasn't underlined:

Fine, I never said otherwise. Berto did clearly beat Urango. He didn't look elite doing it, to me and you apparently do agree. I'm not a Berto fan particularly but again, to be clear, I say it isn't fair that there's an implied failure if he doesn't stop, by whatever manner, the granite-chinned Urango.
