Berto is in way over his head. Should fight a rematch with collazo then maybe cintron or something to that level of comp.
berto should just say **** it and take this fight, if he wins he is probobly atomaticly raised to super star level, if he looses then he falls a few pegs down i also think berto is skilled enough to avoid getting ruined by mosley. good young prospects need to start taking more risks, its the only way they will build a true following.
I don't know if anyone is following his twitter, but he'll send frequent tweets about parties, and clubs, and appearances he's making. Thats cool, he's definitely getting his face out there, but he has to realize that he has not yet made it. I'd say rematch Collazo just to make sure to fit in another fight before the year closes, and if you win just watch the options roll in come early January.
Berto with his hand speed and improving ring generalship just might be able to beat Mosley by decision. Combination / clinch. Combination / clinch. Mosley coming on as the fight reaches the 2nd half and Berto slows down but Berto holding on for the W. Jermain Taylor - Bernard Hopkins all over again anyone? Except Berto has more stamina but less power than Taylor while Mosley more pop but less smarts than Bernard. Very interesting fight!
I like this fight. Both are fast and have power. For berto this is his ticket to stardom. If he beats mosley then he becomes a big star in boxing. If he loses then it's not so bad cuz he loss against the best.Win or lose we'll see how good is berto.
Mosley will beat Berto. The only chance Berto has is to frustrate Mosley by holding onto him for as long as he can or until the ref puts a stop to it.
Nice matchup. But I think Mosley is still too much for him right now. He'll be stronger and should be able to rock Berto so we'll see if he can take that.
