Berto vs. Ortiz 2....who you taking?!

Anything can happen but I'm going with Victor again. He has the momentum...he's filled out more at 147 than he was the first time and of course he has the power to hurt Berto. On the flip side Berto also has the power to hurt Victor.....but based on the last performance Vic's style allowed him to control the fight.

 

Berto will win this...something's not right with Ortiz. I don't think Ortiz's heart is into boxing for some reason.

 

I think Ortiz is better at everything except raw speed ... but that his first performance was a mental one off: a once in a lifetime "come on, this is redemption" performance he won't always be able to duplicate.

I lean towards Berto to stop him when Ortiz quits, because while Ortiz is better, I think he is mentally very vulnerable, and always will be for the rest of his career. That first Berto fight was his greatest moment of glory, I don't think it can be repeated.

 

Pick 'em fight.

I can see either fighter winning on the cards or by stoppage. Too tough to call for me.

 

They are both Glass Jawed Frauds, the first one who lands solidly will probably win.

Berto needs the win more. So I'd like to see him win. Ortiz doesn't deserve another big fight unless he picks his ass up and makes some noise again. Let him beat some top contenders.
