Finally get to watch after being able to see it on DVR

Round 1 Ortiz drops him has him hurt, I thought the slip was really a KD. 10-8 Ortiz

Round 2 Berto drops him but for the most part Ortiz won the round applied pressure wobbled him at one point. So I have it 10-9 Berto 19-18 Ortiz overall

Round 3 Ortiz was all over Berto and had him on the ropes constantly. Berto waved him on but ate hooks and uppercuts. If Berto didnt land a few big rights I'd have had it 10-8. So 10-9 Ortiz 29-27 Ortiz

Round 4 Ortiz dominates, Berto's body language is horrible sits on the ropes his face looks like he is tired and confused almost like he was shocked Ortiz didnt quit after going down in the 2nd. Hes covering up and waving him in dunno if hes still hurt or playing possum. Punch stat was like 30 or more landed by Ortiz and 3 from Berto. Dont always like to use punch stat but this shows that this was dominant. 10-8 Ortiz 39-35 Ortiz

Round 5 Berto had his legs under him and was less lethargic but still didnt land much. Ortiz dominating pace and still getting him on the ropes. Ortiz 10-9 49-44 Ortiz

Round 6 Slow round til around 1:50 Berto catches him with a huge right. Berto doing well. Berto drops him hard with the right. Berto stalks landing many rights Ortiz with the hands down. Round about to end and Ortiz sends Berto down. Anybody who says Ortiz has no heart can be proven wrong after this. I think Berto had the harder knockdown and won the majority of the round. He gets it 10-9 rather than 10-8 beacaus Ortiz had him down too. so 10-9 Berto 58-54 Ortiz

Round 7 Berto's legs look shaky still though they have been the whole fight. This was a very good round maybe as good as this sixth despite no knockdowns the exchanges were better. I liked Berto's right hands
    10-9 Berto 67-64 Ortiz

Round 8 Slower round. Berto keeps it on the outside and the distance and pace benefit. Berto lands good rights and even a few good shots to the body. Both show the effects of a tough fight. 10-9 Berto 76-74 Ortiz

Round 9 Another slow boxing round. Some clinching starting to happen. Berto trying to draw fouls with the back of the head stuff. Warning from the ref. Berto however winning these slow rounds takes another. 10-9 Berto 85-84 Ortiz

Round 10 Point docked fro hitting behind the head. Ortiz was very ferocious after. Berto was not without a few big shots one big left hook and a nice exchange at the tail end. I think Berto fought hard enough to let it stand at 10-8 but Ortiz effort and attack sways me 10-9. So 10-9 Berto 94-94 even Lederman had it 9-9 though in after round 6 said there had to be a 10 point winner in a round? He has Ortiz up by 3

Round 11 Ortiz looks refreshed and Berto who I had on a streak was lethargic. Ortiz 10-9 104-103 Ortiz

Round 12 A fitting finish to a great fight. Good exchanges in the 12th. Ortiz takes it for me on aggression 10-9 Ortiz

    Final Score 114-112 for Ortiz

The real judges had it 115-110, 114-111 and 114-112 so I was in their neck of the woods

Though I think my card was a little unconventional giving Berto only 10-9 in round 2 despite a knockdown and round 3 10-8 despite no knockdown

    Overall Take

Ortiz- Was very consistent and thats why he won, he brought it in every round, he was aggressive in every round and did not back down. He displayed heart and courage round 6 the perfect example and in the 10th he showed a fighters spirit letting the 10th be 10-8 could have been disastrous vs Peterson or Maidana he may have rolled over but the going got tough late and he pulled it out

Berto- It was a strange night his legs never seemed there. Early on he seemed to be relying too much on power maybe buying his hype after his last two brutal wins. It seemed like a Tyson Douglas moment like when Tyson dropped Douglas and he got up. Berto had Ortiz down and looked ready to celebrate but his foe got up. He got comfortable and after the 6th the fight got tactical and he won a few at least in my eyes. But his body language was not great and he never seemed there.

    As for a rematch

People may say I'm nuts but I wouldnt rule out Berto. If he avoids a stupid brawl and doesnt go down early and solves his legs issue he can do better. He seemed to rely too much on a one punch KO with his right. Later when he got distance and jabbed he started winning rounds. I had him in a big hole after 5. Ortiz does not jab at all. If Berto sits on the outside and jabs and then times Ortiz coming in with the right he may do better.

Ortiz fought a great fight and its tough to beat someone who comes at you like that and eats your best punch

I had it 115-110 for ortiz... Ortiz won almost every round outside of the 2nd and the 6th.. He got cheated out of a knockdown in the first and he got a point tooken away in the 10th that was uncalled for!

It took us slightly different ways to get us there, but like Lederman had it, I scored it 115-110 Ortiz.

I thought he beat up Berto pretty good.

115-110 Ortiz as well, it seemed like a pretty clear win to me though Berto wasn't "exposed".

If Ortiz won the round then the Berto KD should give Berto a extra point making it a 10-10 round not get two points and make it a 10-9 for Berto
