As much as I love watching Paulie do what he does- 147 is too big for him. He is effective at 140 because his style doesnt leave a lot of room for power. and fortunately most of the 140ers aren't strong and those that are, aren't fast enough to use that strength. I say it'd be like fighting another but faster and more well established at the weight- Cotto. Berto by points much to my dismay...
Paulie is fast but his problem is that he doesn't have power and Berto has decent speed and power, I'll say Berto by close UD, don't see Paulie getting KO by Berto, sorry. Is not because of Berto's power but because Paulie knows how to stay in a safety zone (YES I KNOW NGOUDJO HIT HIM HARD) at a distance, others will call it that he runs too much
What are you even talking about? Pernell is clearly a better boxer with a better career than Floyd. The only reason you think otherwise is because your boy Hatton was made to look like a clown slamming his own head into the ring posts before slumping to the ground and getting back up, looking like he'd just escaped from the mental institution. "Drrrrr??" Berto will get exposed soon, you count on it.
these 2 guys are in different weight classes...who cares.... UUUU PAVLIK VS FLOYD pavlik whoop floyds ass.....but floyd still the superior boxer
I think Berto's power is a bit over rated. If Miguel Cotto couldn't stop Paulie, I very much doubt that Berto could.
Estrada is there to hit though much more then Malignaggi. I guess it depends really on how well Paulie adapts to 147. I guess you couldn't rule out the possibility, although I think Paulie's chin is fairly solid.
