I just shook my head a few times. He's going senile. I don't know why he's still on the air.

the stoppage was good and it kept quintana who at the time showed no defense from getting hurt. he tried to move but was hunted down. when quintana tried to return fire at berto he threw a punch that looked like he had nothing left. good stoppage even if the ref was not so good.

I really defended him a lot and thought he was still doing a good job. Tonight proved me wrong. He is done.

dude did you really think Quintana looked like he needed to be taken out on a stretcher from taking too many shots? I don't like to see a guy taken out on a stretch but that fight was nowhere near that situation.

    Yes you can.

    What's with the 'ifs'?

It was Quintana and his corner in there. He and his team not complaining means they knew it was over and had no problem with the stoppage.

He was clearly spent at the time of the stoppage and Berto was landing everything he threw, eyes closed. What are you talking about. You have to see a man down for it to be an ok stoppage. I don't get it.

No, we've had enough "warm ups". Pac fought Clottey, Mayweather is fighting Mosley. PAC/Mayweather needs to happen next.

It was an excellent stoppage. Quintana knew, as anyone could see, that he was cooked at that point. His legs were gone, his desire was gone, and he was just taking punishment. He came with a good plan, but lacked the athleticism or raw ability to execute it. Credit to him for showing up and trying all the way, but it was over at the time of the stoppage.

Bingo. As far as I'm concerned, once a guy captures a belt, he no longer gets to hide behind excuses about needing time to mature. Get that done before taking a belt hostage. It's time to get in with the names.

You don't have to see a man down for it to be an ok stoppage. I don't know why you're saying that. Even though, that doesn't mean you should stop a fight every time a fighter is hurt.

No one agrees with him, but it seems we are all wrong and he is right.

I agree but when I mean warm-ups I mean in terms of significance for Pacman (in this case) could set up a december fight between the pac/pbf

whatever, he was done, he had taken 5-10 big shots and then that monster shot down the middle. He threw one punch back with absolutely nothing on it in that exchange prior to ending up in the corner.

So after the big right hand how many more come? why the **** do you care to see fighters get absolutely thrashed when they are done?

Indeed. They're running out of pillow punchers fast. Paying Urango not to hit Berto in the head was a deal not every pro is willing to accept. They'll have to give up the sham soon.

I think for some its skepticism, others it's wanting to see him fail.

Guy has ability, but he's never put it together with consistency. Almost wish he had a lose in his 10th or 11th fight, force him to re-think things.

there is a huge difference between hurt and done. Quintana was done.
