No one is talking about this. I think it could be a good one. Wonder what Aiken and Bigreg think since they dont like Ricans lol. I do agree with some of there comments though.
this will be a good solid fight,i dont think it'll be quite as good as berto-collazo was,but its still good matchup.
I like Carlos, and Kermit... It's just Cotto I don't give a **** about. I like Berto also, because I've actually hung out with him and his family before the Williams-Quintana1 fight at the Pechanga. They're really cool people. I think Carlos might be a little slick for Berto, but Bert has enough speed to catch him and will possibly KO him. If not, Carlos takes it by UD.
I think Berto should win this.... I didnt know this was official (has been too many rumored fights not happening) so i wasnt getting my hopes up.... anyways, i see Berto winning this one and will be suprised if Quintana wins.
I think Carlos is pretty much at the end of his career. I think Berto will be really motivated and put on a great show against Carlos. I think he stops Quintana in 7.
Yeah I just saw Quintana 30 day weigh in and he looks in great shape. A motivated Quintana can be trouble for anyone at 147. Should be good test for Berto and I think he will win but I will be rooting for my fellow PR islander.
It's interesting because Quintana may pose some of the same problems for Berto that Collazo did. While Quintana may have a bit more pop on his punches and a little harder to find defensively, he isn't as durable or as well conditioned as Luis. So it's an intriguing match up and no outcome would really surprise me.
I give the edge to Berto, Quintana has never been consistent enough for me to believe he'll pull off another upset. I'll be rooting for him though, good luck to both fighters.
This is a pick'em fight IMO...Given both fighters style, I would slightly favor Quintana...Collazo gave Berto fits, and I think Berto has problems with slick, elusive boxers...Quintana is a very good slick, elusive fighter but I dont know if he's still in top form. Berto can offset Quintana with his speed and time him...but the point still remains...can he fight a discipline fight then, I could see him pulling out a close UD. If I had to choose...I would have to go with Quintana!
