Out of those, I'd only give him a chance to beat Collazo, Quintana and maybe Judah.

What Tommy V said. I say they need to protect him and try to avoid these guys until he develops more. He needs to stick with fighting mandatories for now.

Not underestimating Quintana, far enough he beat Paul Williams comprehensively, but he got destroyed in the rematch, and beaten in 5 by Cotto.

He's a good fighter, but not as good as the win over Williams suggests.

I felt that he first round loss to williams was just a case of someone who got caught and never had the chance to get into the fight. what realli impressed me was his performance against the big light middle weight puncher joel juilo. I think there is a good chance quintana would outbox berto

I don't think Berto would beat any of them easily at this point, but I would make him favourite over Quintana, Judah & Collazo.

Julio was very green at the time and to an extent still is.

Agreed. Berto's definitely not ready to be put in with the next tier of welters after the before mentioned group. I'd certainly would favor him over the guys you've mentioned but I would also expect close and difficult fights with all three. Berto is capable of stopping both Judah and Quintana because both guys are capable of being stopped in general. If there's a rematch against Collazo I would expect another very close decision.

Berto is a work in progress, I think he could easily outbox Margo and stop him late (too much skill & speed), Cotto may never be the same and SSM is old and getting older with each day so Berto has a chance. IMO Clottey and Williams beat him down, everyone else has varibles that could make these match ups go either way.

    Judah for sure.

Collazo maybe, the 1st fight was close.

Quintana possibly, but I'd favor Quintana.

Everyone else mops the floor with Berto right now. He's not ready for the big leagues yet.

Collazo would be close again. I think he would beat Judah, but at this point that's not saying much. I think he loses to everyone else on your list.
