Originally Dan Rafael reported the fight was off because Urango was asking for more money. Apparently Judah and Quintana were the two fighters HBO was most interested in filling in for Urango. However, Rafael has recently made an update to his original article and states...

"As for the Berto-Urango fight, the notebook has been updated with information from this morning. Looks like Urango and his promoter are going to work things out and he will end up taking the fight."

So I guess the fight may happen after all.

Judah? Man, HBO loves to see this kid get beatings. Actually, Zab has good chance to win. Berto is not a big WW and Zab can bang.

If he fought Judah in New York - it would sell better.

I'd rather he fought Judah anyway. Not interested in seeing Quintana right now.

    quintana yes

that was the fight i have been calling for

urango would not of done nothing for berto

and judah needs to GTFO here
if berto beats quintana that is a real statment that he belongs with the top boys, which he will have to face sooner rather than later

judah just scrapped a win against Ernest Johnson! i mean come on some guys loove judah's nuts

Wow, 100,000. Think about it, it was for the undisputed titles not one. 210,000 is not going to be offered to Zab. Urango should have taken it. His management screwed up for Urango. Good payday from a guy at 140. Maybe, it is not too late.

Zab Judah doesn't take big paydays really. He just loves to fight.

As per Judah/Berto, IF Zab loses to Berto would that mean he's lost to every current WW champion?

Right good catch. I had completely forgotten that they cancelled Mosley/Judah.

I guess I already chalked that up as a loss for Zab

That does bring about an interesting question. IS there a fighter whose fought all 4 current WW champions?

210.000 means he would end up with maybe 100.000 after all is said and done.

    Training exspenses/TAXES/manager/promoter etc
