if Cotto and cintron start saying that his wraps were platered in there fights as well I would be getting some better people around me. Who was watching Margs hands get wrapped when he fought cotto. either the wraps were alright or whoever in Cottos camp watched the wraps is a halfwit

They are obviously extremely discreet about it mate. They are talking about coating the wraps in a powder that when wet would harden into a plaster like material.

Its not like they are shoving a broken bit of hard plaster in the glove in plain sight.

maybe but the way I have been rerading it is that the wraps when he fought Shane were wet. and it looks like the wraps must have started before Shanes people got into the room. You would need a few layers of wrap coated with plaster to harden to have an effect. If you had a couple of layers they would just crack and be of no use. If you have had an arm or what not platered you can see that they have to use a fair bit of the stuff to make it hard enough to have any effect. I cannot see how someone could watch a hand being wrapped from the start and not notice that something was wrong

I thought by the time Nazim got in the room they already had the left hand in the glove and the right hand didn't look right so he made them cut it back and the rest is history.

Fair enough, i didn't realise they walked in half way through. My bad.

I still don't think the plaster like material would be very bulky, otherwise it wouldn't fit in the glove, which is small anyway. They must have found something stronger and would simply make his fist much heavier and more dense.

While it's natural that this casts dispersions against Tony's previous wins, his fight with Cotto was in Vegas. If it got past the LVSAC, I'd be amazed. They pride themselves on that stuff.

Trinidad SR admitted to them doing it their entire careers... And Tito fought in Vegas on much more than one occasion surely (i couldn't be farked checking) before the Hopkins bout when he was found out.

The Hopkins fight was in the big apple. Regardless, from what I've read, Tony's sounds worse than Tito's. Apparently Tito's was on top of the knuckles, while Tony's was inside the hand.

Fair enough... I didn't think the Hop fight was in vegas though, just saying that surely Tito fought in Vegas throughout his career on multiple occasions, meaning he managed to get away with it there.

How would making it inside the hand be worse?

I thought it would damage his hand more so than anything else?

I'm not sure, but I'd imagine it'd make the hand more solid, as you can only crunch your fingers so tight into a fist. If Tony's guilty...**** him.
