Berto vs Cotto would be a great fight. It's time for Berto to start challenging the elite fighters of his division.

    VERY valid points..

at Least Margarito fought Cintron, Williams, Clottey, Cotto and Mosley :deal

Your BOUND to lose if your fighting guys like that.

Mayweather isnt scared of nobody fool!! Margarito was a nobody 3 years ago and wasnt even reconzied champ, so why fight him. and Mayweather tried to fight Cotto 4 years ago at 140 and Arum wouldn't let him, so get your facts straight.

that would be a stupid move for Berto, why should he risk losing against Collazo when he could opt to fight Mosley or Cotto next for more money?

cotto would kill him, i saw collazo winning that fight by far i didn't see berto do anything to convince me he won the fight it was rob, also he didn't even perform well agaisnt forbes berto really has nothing to go with calling out cotto or mosley.

Sorry guys, but Collazo is a difficult fighter for anyone. Berto won, albeit close. Collazo is the Glen Johnson of the Welter weights, close in all his fights and deserves to be up there in contention. One of the things about boxing is that fighting the best brings out the best. So, that being said, Berto's attitude toward fighting a premier fighter like Cotto or Margarito might be mroe motivating than a Collazo. Styles make fights and no one could have imagined that Shane would look THAT good against Margorito. However, I would not be surprised if Berto fights a Zab Judah or Clottey first.

He's obviously not fond of his WBC belt then. He's not ready for either of them yet.

What the **** is wrong with you guys?

Is he supposed to not want to fight the best fighters in his weight class? He is fully capable of competing with both of these guys. He has a belt. Why would he not want to fight these guys? Is he supposed to just sit back and act like he's a second class welter?

Cotto would be wise not to take him lightly. Cotto should be favored, but it won't be an easy win for him.

I did watch his last fight, what are you saying?? Collazo put up a way better fight against Mosley than Margarito did against him. didnt Margarito spank Cotto??? THATS WHAT I THOUGHT!! Berto has a great chance to win, and I'm a rican saying that.

is those fight are good for Berto? no
do i want to see those fight? hell yaa!

Maybe Berto is not quite ready for Cotto, mosley and Margarito but he's got everythings to do it one day , we can't say the guy isn't courageous maybe a little too much and its the only reason i say his not ready for those Guys. Its always good for a boxer to know when to be carefule.
