I just saw his last fight and I got a few questions about him. It was close and I don't really know who I would give it too as I was too busy just enjoying the fight to score it. So that being said

    1) Was this fight as close or almost as close as the Hatton-Collazo fight that many people said should have been a loss for Hatton?

    2) I don't hear much about Collazo is he a top 15 WW?

    3) Both of them looked kind of small for WW. I know why Berto wouldn't move down but Why not Collazo. If he gave Hatton a tough fight would he not be a top JrWW. Would the cut be too hard for him? I know some boxers cant cut as much as others. Is this the case.

    4) The HBO cast was talking about Berto's handspeed sayin that kind of speed only comes along once in every Blue moon. (I know thats not what he said but you get what I mean) Now I know he has very fast hands but was HBO also just hyping him cause I mean Zab, Mosley, Ray L and maybe Oscar looked as fast or faster. (talking about Zab, Mosley and Ray L. for faster) And my guess is there are a few more WW in the last 30 or so years with that kind of handspeed.

    5) Collazo looks like he has fast hands too, not as fast as Berto but still fast. Does he have better hand speed then the avg top WW.

On the Berto/Collazo fight I had Collazo winning because of the point Berto had taken away. Im no professional judge though so it could go either way. I dont know what the judge that scored it 116-111 was smoking though. The Hatton Collazo fight I had for Hatton sadly... My opinion is probably biased though because Im a Collazo fan.

I would rank Collazo as a B list fighter. Maybe top 10-20. (again, may be biased, Im a Collazo fan)

Berto definetly has speed, I would say above average for a welter.

Weight I cant comment on, I dont know what else they have fought at before and dont really know if they have trouble making weight in welter.

I thought I heard one of the commentators say Berto started as a MW. I believe if Collazo tried to cut down to JW, he would get cut down like Oscar with any top ten JW. Collazo walks around I believe 180 or higher. There was a picture of him partying once on this website showing how much he put on. He should stay at WW and hope for a rematch and maybe he may get the nod the next time around.
