Is this something worth watching? Is the opponent good, will it be exciting?

I was thinking Berto by wide Decision. I have been thinking about the fight more though and I still think Berto boring wide decision but if he tries to be impressive for the Pac sweepstake Hernandez does have the size and power to put him in trouble.
Hernandez KO would not be totally out of the question but knowing Berto he will stink out the joint in a boring decision.

Hernandez is best known for stopping Demarcus Corley. This is a good win over a guy who was only stopped by Cotto (terrible stoppage if I remember rightly) and Mayweather, when he gave a good account of himself. This Corley was older and on the decline but still had enough to extend Maidana (and win me £10). Thats all I know. Seems just like any other prosepct who hasen't earned his shot. Berto's managament need to look at some interesting fights soon, because this is so far under te radar its ridiculous. Great night of fights, but people should be talking about Berto but won't and this is why. Boring decision like his recent fights I'd guess.

    :D

You really think people oughta be talking about Berto? I only watched one of his fights, the one where he was supposed to fight Mosley, and from my memory, which is, admittedly, faulty, he looked like a poor man's... heck, a bankrupt man's early Pac. All he has is a straight right and athleticism.

Berto is gonna make this fight much tougher than it should be. I would not count out his opponent. Berto can lose to a lot of different styles and has only had 3 soft fights in the last 2 + years. Freddy Hernandez has a shot to pull the upset by KO. If not this fight he will lose when he steps up next. If Freddy is a good price worth a little wager.

Just came back from the betting forum here on ESB looking specifically to make a wager like that. No thread. Damnit.

I wouldn't right him off. Andre's whole career is on thin ice. He could fall in at any time.

El Riel has a very solid puncher's chance here.

Berto should be fighting the rematch vs Collazo since Collazo was robbed.

Be that as it may...wtf has Luis Collazo done lately? Has he even been in a boxing gym in the last year and a half?

At least El Riel has been active and on a good streak.
