Bradley, Ward, Berto..... they have something in common aside from being headbutters.

I just can't point my finger into it.

I think all the proofs are in this thread. Case closed. It's irrefutable.

    Conclusion : first degree headbutt

    See #167.

During the fight, HBO showed this from Zaveck's right. After the fight, in the replay they showed it from Zaveck's left (see #167). That's where you can see (if you have the tape, preferably high-def) the blood stream down his left eye and you can see him blinking incessantly. In fact, from this view it's absolutely crystal clear that he's blinking specifically because of the blood in his left eye, as he tries to expel the blood, which is imparing his vision. At this point there's a close up of his face where you can see all the blood is in his left eye. No blood yet at all in his right eye, even though this after the "headbutt".

So, to reiterate, the blinking is about the blood in the left eye, which is clear in the post-fight replay.

see left eye bleed with no blood in right eye, post headbutt.

Always an excuse. Zaveck isn't making any excuses. The commentators and trainers on both sides never brought it up nor did the ref. There's enough bull**** decisions and judging to bring boxing down... don't diminish a solid performance from a young American fighter who could be special (if he learns defense.)
