All the bull**** aside, it was a good fight and I had a sense that if it had of went the full twelve rounds that Berto might have been in trouble. Zaveck was fighting a good fight and dealing with Bertos power shots. I hope Berto gets another shot at Otiz.:bbb:bbb:bbb

Well from that angle the ref would have been able to see that the first butt was into his chin. The second one was more subtle and clever--and deliberate into his eye, as the head turning to protect his own eye, just before the 2nd butt, proves. The latter aspect shows both experience in doing that and malice aforethought IMO.

Move over Timothy Bradley, there's a new sheriff in town.

Really sucks for Zaveck. I had him up and he was getting good inside work done.

I can only assume you're trolling because this gif doesn't show **** except and unintentional butt that per the giff didn't cause any damage that I see, furthermore Zaveck was butting just as much. How do you conclude this and not a punch caused his eye to explode, and why did Zaveck say
Nothing about disagreeing with the call?

Furthermore, I belive this was in the fifth round, and the fight was stopped shortly thereafter. So the 2nd butt with the head turned appears to be the factor that did it to Zavek--who you can see look to the ref for assistance.

That he did not make a stink of this despite the travesty shows great class. (And I am an American, but not partial to any fighters--just want to see good, fair fights.)

In that gif above it looks like one of the most deliberate head butts I've ever seen!

ASSume yourself. You troll for the staus quo all the time.

    Eyes Wide Shut here folks.

And as I just posted a guy shows class and doesn't make a stink and you then put him down for having class?!

And maybe he also doesn't speak the language and was also in a bit of shock.

No. Boxers, especially European boxers, need to be standing up and protesting this corrupt boxing bull****!

George Foreman was the only honest announcer on US tv in recent years, at least he was before he sold out to get his job back. That's exactly what he said after the fight that they crookedly awarded to Byrd over Oquendo, that boxers need to stop meekly accepting the bull**** - and then they fired him.

Tactics aside, Berto won. Deal with it.

Damn in the past I've seen two opponents use their head as the primary weapon.

No, I mean LITERALLY as a primary weapon. Not like B-Hop, Bradley etc. This is nothing new.

I can't argue with you here.

Unfortunately maybe they are told that if they don't go along, they will never get (big) fights again?

No one ever said it is new--it's very old.
Difference is that now there are instant replays, videos, youtube, internet and forums to complain about a wrong or a travesty.

And something else...it's against the rules and always has been.
