I think the list of boxers at 175 who can knockout Roy Jones Jr. is long and is a compelling argument as to why he should retire. However after watching the bout last night. I think the list of boxers who can out box him and win a decision is very short.
Anybody who shows Jones as much respect as Hopkins did last night will have the same kind of trouble with him.
Trying to "box" with Jones will be difficult for most people. Without power to take advantage of his faded punch resistance, he's a difficult night's work. Still has fast hands, plus all the experience a person could have.
Anyone with a pulse. Jones is done, used to be a big fan but it’s really sad to see him try to make a payday no matter what. Thought that he's is smart and be covered financially, but it sure doesn't look that way. He should retire before getting seriously injured.
I was just about to mention the guys at SMW. Seriously, SMW is so stacked with talent atm, it will be hard for anyone to become top dog. Expect a few of them to go to the LHW where they may be able to make some noise.
