    Ingemar Johansson beat every man he every faced though it was not exactly revenge since he won first of those three fights with Patterson

    Yeah but he ducked lennox Lewis. Guess I can't blame him, Lewis kicked his ass in the olympics.

    IDK, that was a controversial fight and many people don't feel Leonard won that one. Supposedly Hagler wanted the rematch and Leonard never gave him one. Hard to avenge anyone when they don't want to fight you.

    Joe Louis and Ray Robinson did when reletvily young, after getting way too old Louis could not come back against Marciano, and Robinson fought till he was 15 years past his best. Tunney did, and like Lewis, he retired young, which makes it tricky question.

    Actually I think Maske won the first fight with Virgil Hill back in 1996. It was one of the very rare occasions where the outside fighter got the decision in a close fight in Germany.

    But Virgil Hill clearly won the rematch in 2007.
