up until round 5 it was very close and Manny was clearly worried and right so, Wlad was landing very little. From round 5 on Wlad ran away with it, maybe you could have scored one round a draw. I was surprised at the margin of Wlads victory but he was the home Champ so i should have seen it coming.

but you are right it was a bad fight. Wlad took a few glancing rights and immediately held on, although he kept coming forward and was by far the more impressive. Haye took one full force right hand and stayed up which was impressive, if that is the right word but from then on was he unwilling to risk anything but looping and hopeless right hands from distance and only a few of them

I cringed when Haye took his shoe off, that was embarrassing. i saw an interview a few days later when he showed it again - it looked much worse? - he suggested it got stamped on in the crush to get to the ring - which seemed like poetic justice for being late out the dressing room to me

 

Cool story. I first had it when I was 14 (3 years ago) I was out in public and I was ****ing bugging out
