Toney had amazing stamina for being as fat as he was against Peter.

So yes, a fat fighter can still be cardio developed.

But as has been said, chances are, the fighters who look to be in shape are much more likely to be in shape.

"In shape" in my opinion doesn't mean, for boxing purposes, being massively muscled. In the case of boxers like Shannon Briggs and Jameel McCline, I think that muscle is more of a hinderance than a help.

Aside from Wlad, who is well-proportioned, Evander Holyfield, Oliver McCall, David Haye, Tye Fields and Chagaev are all in decent shape. Yep, small heavyweights, two ancient monuments, and Tye fecking Fields.

why don't these fat asses catch onto to the fact that alot of the reason Wlad dominates is because he's in fantastic shape? The HW can't even be considered athletes in most instances, it's really embarrasing being a boxer and having these porkers on TV fighting each other.

Wlad has actually lost a lot of the muscle he had in his earlier years, and it seems to have helped his stamina. He was built like an Adonis earlier in his career.

Tye Fields looks like a weight lifter / American football player going to Fat. What a joke. He is a BAD KO waiting to happen, as soon as he steps up.

Funny how most of the men on that list are past prime fighters who's better days were during the 90's or early 00's. Not many young fighters.
