    Great post Rocky...You are right when you mention that great left hook from Joe Walcott that kod Ezzard Charles in 1951..Devastating punch
    for a 36 year old Walcott...:good

    I hate these lists (even though I peak at them) but it was nice to see Elmer Ray's name mentioned.

    84-15-4 (63) 1NC overall. He was stopped 7 times.

    From 10/1/43 - 3/26/48 he went 57-1 (50) losing only to Jersey Joe Walcott LMD10 who he had previously beat (WSD10). During this stretch he beat the likes of Lee Savold KO2, Walcott WSD10, and Ezzard Charles WSD10 (who he was later stopped by Charles, LKOby9). Most of these fights were against lower level guys but he really put a hurting on most of them. The 6'2' 200Lber could really crack.
