Vergil, Ennis, Benavidez, and Shakur. Boxing is in good hands, y'all are just following the wrong guys.
How so? He's fought a higher level of competition compared to the 4 lws and even the people in my list and beat them all convincingly. Just curious
Haney has problems with a questionable chin and leaky defense but I think he's better than Benavidez who I find as overrated and in a poor division to boot.
Albert Batyrgaziev - Olympic Gold medalist - something none of them could do, Age 23. And is better than them all
Albert Batyrgaziev (Russia), age 23 Aaron Mckenna (Ireland) age 22 Dennis Mccann (GB) age 20 Paddy Donovan (Ireland) age 22 Sadriddin Akhmedov (Kazakhstan) age 23 Yevgeniy Pavlov (Kazakhstan) age 22
2016 and 2020 gold medalists not relevant yet 2012 gold medalist: Anthony Joshua 2008 gold medalist: Didn’t go pro 2004 gold medalist: Alexander Povetkin 2000 gold medalist: Audley Harrison 1996 gold medalist: Wladimir Klitschko 1992: Didn’t go pro 1988: Lennox Lewis It’s pretty clear what the trend is for Olympic gold medalists.
It's pretty weird that they didn't go pro, since they could get a decent sum for a string of KO1s even if they had no interest in high level pro boxing. The HW gold medalist is basically the only person in boxing besides Jake Paul who can profit that early.
