Leonard: Duran, Bonds, Kalule, Hearns, Finch.

Bonds and Finch weren't at that level, but he did that between 80 and 82

This isn't exactly a five fight run, or one division, but in 1979-1981, Alexis Arguello had this impressive schedule:

This schedule consists of 10 fights and only Hayes and Vasquez were relatively weak. And Hayes was good enough to beat Juan Laporte a few years later and drop Pedroza.

7 of the 10 opponents held a World Title at some point in time, Hayes beat a reigning champ. LaPorte in a non-title fight, and Castillo is one of the best fighters never to win a world title.

United States Ray Mancini TKO 14 (15), 1:44 1981-10-03 United States Showboat Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, Nevada Retained The Ring & WBC World Lightweight titles.
Win 78–5 United Kingdom Jim Watt UD 15 1981-06-20 United Kingdom Empire Pool Wembley, London Won The Ring & WBC World Lightweight titles.
Win 77–5 United States Robert Vasquez TKO 3 (10), 2:55 1981-02-07 United States Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, Florida
Win 76–5 Mexico José Luis Ramírez SD 10 1980-11-14 United States Jai Alai Fronton, Miami, Florida
Win 75–5 Uganda Cornelius Boza Edwards TKO 8 (10) 1980-08-09 United States Superstar Theatre, Atlantic City, New Jersey

Dude, there is something rare about a fighter that puts it on the line time and again against the very best.

This is the most impressive IMO for the reasons you stated.

Pac was actually bigger than the desiccated carcass of the fighter formerly known as the Golden Boy, but I agree overall. Unprecedented run.

Yeah, it is strange that DLH cut so much weight. A couple of lbs north of 150 should have been fine for him at WW. No biggie to drain 5+ lbs after the weigh in. Does anyone know how big he used to be (in the ring) as a LW?

I just don't agree with the Pac run to be honest. I mean Clottey was always a meh fighter imo. More of a spoiler than anything. Margarito, again, IMO was meh so I'm not that impressed with that win. Oscar, again, he was well past his best by that point

I love some of these responses though. I had forgot about some of these

He also had a streak with Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Larios, and Jorge Solis. The problem is Barrera and Morales were near the end.

Ali likely holds the heavyweight spot with Frazier, Foreman, Wepner, Lyle Bugner.

Tyson cuts it somewhat close with either Pink, Tucker, Holmes, Biggs, Tubbs or Tucker, Holmes, Biggs, Tubbs, Spinks.
