    Cool I'll watch the darchinyan fight....i love to see slick defensive moves with beautiful counterpunching...and the less holding the better!

    Kelly Pavlik, and Carl Froch are the best at Blocking punches with there Face:deal:deal

    All day. He is an amazing fighter floating right under the radar. People who like sharp defensive Boxing REALLY need to check this guy out. :deal

    At the elite level,I have to pick Ward. I was so impressed with his stomach for battle during the Froch fight.

    :lol: i had to make a funny because thats what everyone says about him. I disagree, i think Kelly has under-rated defense, but is no where near at the top!

    I'd say Rigondeaux has even better defensive skills than Mayweather at this point

    dawson has very good defensive skills when he needs it, when he finds his range hes quite difficult to get at

    and ivan calderon (not sure if hes still active due to the whole cocaine scandal) deserves a shout too

    Ward and Hopkins. It's also worth mentioning that neither are standout defensive fighters in a historical sense at this point, which speaks toward the quality of the current scene.

    Hopkins IMO. He is of course getting tagged these days because he is so bloody old, but he has crazy know how. Wlad on second place.
