the talentpool is shocking given the poverty /ammount of fit men and the fact that all black fighters derive from africa with there success that there is no outstanding talent. coaching/facilities excepted you would have thought west africa / south africa/north africa would have conveyer belts of talent. there was a film with kevin bacon as a basketball coach called the air up there where he went to africa to look for talent. if a top trainer went looking in hotspots like lagos /accra /johannesburg surely they would unearth some gems.

Definitely is Tete right now. It would be interesting to go back and trace out the succession of p4p #1 from the continent over the last few generations. At various times odd the cuff I can say that Azumah Nelson, and later Ike Quartey, and maybe (briefly) Silence Mabuza or Hekkie Budler held the honor, but there are lots of gaps to fill in there.
