In recent times, I'd say that Jamie Moore v Matthew Macklin is right up there.
So was Alex Arthur against Michael Gomez.
The first fight between Eubank / Benn and the Benn / Watson tear up were spectacular nights as well...

Jeff Thomas vs Sombrero Man is an all time great bout!

Gomez vs Arthur was a war. Those guys are hard. For Gomez to go up to Scotland and give that performance was immensely impressive.

Robin Reid vs Joe Calzaghe wasn't for a domestic title but was an entertaining and evenly matched fight too.

Thaxton vs Hatton was a real brutal fight bewteen two top fighters as well.

    Haye V Maccarenelli

the fight was a antic climax because it finished early

because they were both big punchers - so whoever got nailed first was going

    but the hype was amazing

both boxers promised war and were confident

it was 50/50 - no one could split them of who would win

for every Haye supporter - you would find another who thought Enzo would win

    great arena

amazing weigh in - where Haye and Enzo stared each other down

    great atomsphere on the night

and WBC / WBA / WBO titles on the line

Even though it was not for a British title - Eubank vs Watson 2 is up there as one of the best all British fights of all time, not just the last 20 years. Such a shame it is marred by the injuries suffered to Watson.

If we are talking about "British Title" only then I'd have to say Moore vs Macklin.

I was on holiday when it took place but had a copy of it waiting for me when I got home. I didn't even unpack because I knew it'd be a great fight. However, even I didn't think it would be THAT good.

    Arthur v Gomez

    Moore v Macklin

I agree with Flint that Haye v Enzo was really enjoyable all the way to the end.

    You gotta be kidding, right?!

I was at the O2 for this fight, and it was the biggest anti climax ever!

Maccarinelli looked like Bruno did when he went out to face Tyson second time around - scared out of his wits!

As soon as he entered the ring we knew he wouldn't be hanging around for long.
