I know next to nothing about the amateur game, so does anyone know of any prospects who you think will turn pro and make big waves?

Vasyl Lomachenko. Ukrainian kid that won an Olympic Gold at the last Olympics. Still only 22. Best amateur in the game right now in my opinion. Will make a great pro, will probably go pro after the next Olympics.

Yeah Lomachenko is the best. He's turning pro after London 2012. Watch some of his fights, he looks the business.

Eastern Europe will rule the boxing world in the next 5-10 years. Boxing is going from strength to strength in the likes of Russia and Ukraine.

Lomachenko is far and away the best. I expect him to be a dominant pro for the next decade after he goes pro, and he might even be my pick to be the best fighter of the decade.

Of the Americans, Rau'shee Warren is probably the best at the moment.

I think that Steve Geffard is really stepping his game up he lost a 9-7 decision to Russo over in Italy in an exhibition at Heavyweight. Geffard may be a cruiserweight prospect for the pros hard to tell right now.

Nothing I like better than seeing a hyped prospect get ktfo. Its so damn satisfying.

Some of these guys might be content to just be amateurs, there's no guarentee they will go professional. I'm sure any university in the world will spunk themselves if one of these guys takes up a scholarship.

WSB will keep lots of amateurs in the game too, they remain amateur with Olympic status plus they get paid
