Why is Midget Wolgast the best American Flyweight? If you say Frankie Genaro, why (not a dismissal just curious)? Or am i missing somebody obvious?

    Labarba, then Genaro, then Wolgast.

Later today I will say why. Only just having my first coffee of the day.

I thought of Carbajal but he was a 108. In old times he would have been a 112, but did he have the willingness to take dives, carry opponents and had the connections to make it back then?

Genaro has 3 wins over Villa, and when Wolgast was in his prime and Genaro past his Wolgast still couldn't beat him.

Sure, Wolgast has some better wins over mutual opponents, and Genaro's record was slightly spottier, but Wolgast winning the elimination tournament does not level up with Genaro's many title defences.

Genaro for me. Labarba before him for obvious reasons.
