Best and worst predictions you have made over the last 10 years

I got the whole heavyweight tournament right. I said Fury would beat Wilder, Usyk would beat Joshua, and Usyk would beat Fury.

WORST
Thought after the Glowacki fight that Okolie was going to turn the corner, unify a couple of cruiserweight belts, and invade the heavies. I quickly realized how wrong I was when he quickly reverted to his manlove style, but for a brief moment, I thought that our octopussy would blossum into a real fighter.

 

I put 10$ on Garcia winning a decision against Davis.

 

That honest enough?

 

Best : Fury beating Wilder by knockout in 2020.
Worst : Lemieux beating Saunders.

 

Best - Sorry cant think of one in the last ten years but much earlier i followed Johnny Nelson career after i saw him fight live v Andrew Gerrard. Told everyone who would listen that he would be a future world champion
Worst - Always picking against Beterbiev. However i haven`t learnt my lesson,so come on Bivol

 

Best Prediction: Parker beating Zhang while being down twice
Worse: Dillian Whyte will be a harder opponent for Fury than Usyk. It was 3 years ago to be fair, but I'm still embarrassed TIL THIS DAY!

 

Vianello stopping Makhmudov was my best prediction recently. All-time, though, it's Nagy Aguilera KTFOing Oleg Maskaev in the first round. My exact prediction for that fight was Aguilera KO1 Maskaev.

Oleg was a big favourite in that fight but I knew he had one of the worst chins in the history of boxing (probably THE worst one among top 10 fighters), and was slow as a turtle while Aguilera, being inexperienced and not a big puncher, was quick. I knew you don't need to be a puncher to KO Maskaev, you just needed to get to his chin, and I thought Aguilera would do that quickly with his fast hands. And that's exactly what happened in the fight. Aguilera landed quickly and Maskaev's beyond glass mandibles fell over the ring like a fine porcelain once again.

My worst prediction ever was Shannon Briggs knocking out Sultan Ibragimov. Hell, I was WRONG. Ibragimov schooled him easily winning about 11 rounds to 1. It was as one-sided as they come and Briggs barely landed a single punch in that fight.

 

Warned that Ruiz was a danger to AJ before the first fight

Backed Parker to beat Wilder

I guess those are my best

 

I predicted the round in which Joyce would stop Parker.

I picked Franklin to beat AJ.

Best one is not a single fight but I predicted Zhilei Zhang to become a world champion back in 2020 - okay, technically he was only WBO interim champion but I'm counting that lol

 

Best was PAC v Hoya.

Worst was Solis v Vitali.

 

I picked Zhang to KO/TKO Joyce in the 1st fight - got the right round too. 10 quid at 40-1, nice little win.

Worst picks.....am sure there have been several. I'll have to think

 

Best: Andre Ward to win the Super Six (nobody thought he would)

Worst: I though Charlo would outhustle Canelo bc Canelo was sloppy for Ryder and Bivol.
