    I assume you know of the Mummies of Urumchi? Six and half foot tall red heads found perfectly preserved in Western China from 800-2000BC. Go figure, huh?

    People from 16,000 BC are taller than they are today? Must have been a lot of meat back then. I'm not sure if I buy it.

    It seems like the climate levels at the time were such that the hunter gatherer tribes had an abundance of large animals to hunt. When warmer climate forced the animals north, many of those former hunters adapted to the new climate via agriculture, and started moving towards a starch based diet.
