    As imaginative and inspiring as Witherspoon's style and defense were, he could slip or deflect it but actually held his right hand just low enough to get hit.

    I would also like to mention Eubank, especially against long-armed musclemen Watson, Malinga and Thompson. Impressive subtle head movement.

    Pep was amazing at both slipping and ducking the jab, and maybe more so on following that landing punches while going the opposite way.

    Can you imagine if Harold had been fortunate enough to have been born a little bit later? He could have been part of that late 70's lh scene with EM Muhammad and Saad Muhammad. And who would pick those guys--or an old Galindez/Rossman/Marvin Johnson/ over Harold? Man, I think he would have made those guys look foolish in there.
