Their was a lot of low points. Geale,Soliman,Fletcher,Talipeau Brunker,Leapai off the top of my head all getting flogged in big fights. Jeff Horn is doing well though,Lucas Browne becoming the 1st Aussie to win the Commonwealth Heavyweight title in over a 100 years. But while he is not my favourite fighter I think Mundine as a 6-1 underdog beating undefeated young lion Sergey Rabchenko a highly touted fighter from the Ricky Hatton stable was the standout performance. Besides this video of course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcirQbOlzCg So my fellow Aussie ESB brethren what is Australias best boxing moment of 2014?
I watched this video and it is interesting made to show the moments of Boxing. I like to watch Boxing and Amir khan is my favorite one. See live Boxing from here http://www.ptvsports.pk/boxing/
Despite voting Danny Green awesome tribute clip I agree. As much as I dislike Mundine that was the best performance by an Aussie this year IMO. Browne 2nd.
atsch Enough with the fab 4 sh*t Francis. Since Kegsy retired from the forums their is no elite posters anymore.:nono Only normal posters and boxrec lightweights embarrassing themselves on this forum.:deal
IMO yes because he overcame adversity to win. He dominated Mosley from the outset. Though both were good wins as he came back from lopsided losses in his previous fights and was the underdog in both(especially Rabchenko after the Clottey flogging).
I think Stifler is a bit upset by the emergence of the Pioneer kid. The Pioneer has made his presence felt and has people rattled on here. I think he may have leap frogged Stifler already on the mythical P4P list. Lets just see how things pan out over the XMas/New Year period. Is Stifler on the downside of his internet posting career ? Can he still duke it out with the elites on here ? These are the questions that the internet boxing world want answered.I still have faith in Stifler and believe he still has the goods but does he believe in himself ?
