yeah i didn't think much of it really. just went round and round in circles talking about the same thing. fairly basic.

  2. Most of the best autobiographies I've read from any sportsman have been written pretty much immediately after they retired.

I don't see the point in writing one when you are still active, makes me laugh when the England footballers seem to do one after every tournament..... even though it's repetitive.

''We looked good in qualification, then played boring, AIDS riddled football in the groups, played well in the 2nd round match and choked in the quarters''

Failing that, I think diary type books are a good read, I've got three of Ricky Ponting's books, but the best one is ''Walking to Victory'' by Adam Gilchrist from the 2003 World Cup.

Trying to think of books that I've got.....

    Jack Charlton 9/10
    Bobby Charlton 3/10
    Shane Warne 6/10
    Darren Gough 5/10
    Michael Atherton 9/10
    Steve Waugh 10/10
    Adam Gilchrist 7/10
    Frank Maloney 8/10
    Johnny Nelson 8/10
    Joe Calzaghe 4/10
    Ricky Hatton 6/10
    Kevin Pietersen 3/10
    Andrew Flintoff 5/10
    Linford Christie 6/10
    Martin Johnson 7/10

I read it too. Fantastic book - definately worth a read. Was actually recommended to me by one of the posters on this forum. So a big thank you to whoever that was.
