Canelo had his hands low for most of the fight and Canelo was noticeably faster. His body was usually guarded so GGG could really only go after the head. That and Canelo excellent defense makes body punching a pain anyway. But GGG has nuked guys to the body with both hands against other opponents.
Heh, body work was absent against Jacobs. As competiion ramps up ggg is going away from it suggesting he only believes in body work for inferior opponents. Spence however does believe in it and is in his gameplan against all opponents.
Both Canelo and Jacobs were much faster than GGG which I think is why he didn't go quite as hard to the body. To much risk of eating a hard counter for his effort. Nothing solid or provable just imo.
So Loma just stopped the #1 or at worst #2 lightweight in the world, who I hear outweighed him 152 to 138, in his first fight at the weight, with no 3 tune ups to settle into the weight, with a body shot. This content is protected
