Just need a little feedback here. Who are some of the best body punchers of the 21st century? Guys who started their careers before 2000 are welcome, so long as they did significant work in this century.

Think Mosley deserves a shoutout. He deviated away from body snatching when he entered the higher weight classes.

But back when he was younger (135 lber) (In the 90's), he was quite the exquisite body puncher. He did great work in the 2000's, but he never really put emphasis on body punching in the 2000's.

Unfortunate, really. Mosley had a wonderful left hook to the body.

Vassiliy Jirov was quite good, though some of his stuff was pre-2000.

Yeah Jirov was a very good body puncher.

If this fight had taken place just 4 months later it would've been in the 21st Century :D

He dropped and stopped quite a few more of his opponents with body shots too.

Kovalev“s straight punches to the body seem to work just fine..

Too bad Lomachenko lacks power. It's the only facet of the game that prevents him from being a truly complete fighter. Though he kind of makes up for it. I've never seen a guy land 3 consecutive body punches at will to KO somebody like he did against Koasicha.

His style isn't really centred towards his power but out-pointing his opponent, kind of like a Mayweather. He fights on his terms, and only when he wants to really sit on his punches, he will. That's usually after accumulating punches over a longer stretch and then open up when he knows he's got you.

Having said that, if he did have very good power, Russell Jr would have been gone earlier. Russell Jr wouldn't have survived another round though, but still. Lomachenko would have suited a 15 round fight even more than 12 rounds. He would have had a more Salvador Sanchez esque late round finishing reputation.

Golovkin is at the top he drops guys with body shots with either hand which is rare .... and if he drops you with a body shot and you get up to fight on , he's gonna land more of them :)
