Cotto was good but he's retired. I'd still pick Spence and Inoue over him though

Wow, text book rips by this man Naoya Inoue. Yep, he's up there with the best of the body punchers.

The thing that's insane about Loma's body shots is he's getting the job done despite being a lighter hitter p4p than the other guys. It's all placement with him. I don't buy that Loma's featherfisted, but the other five are (at least) one notch above power-wise.

Still, my money is on the Monster for this one.

Gassiev makes a commitment early in fights to go to the body as well. In pretty much every fight he tries to get his left hook to the body early. Spence and Loma are the most versatile body punchers right now. Gassiev the most destructive and devastating when he lands partially or flush. Spence the best overall body puncher IMO.

Well Spence definitely probably is the best at landing the shots, but I think Gassiev's got the most powerful one p4p. I wouldn't want to get hit by that **** by no means.

140lbs Cotto was a legendary body puncher.

The very finest alive today? Tie between Loma and Spence.

Nobody i've ever seen can throw counter shots to the body like Loma. It's remarkable, beautiful skill. Go back and appreciate those body counters....more than just Jorge has been felled by them.

Spence is relentless to the body. A dog. Punches right threw the body.

Monster and Crawford are determind body punchers and throw hammers....but it's not the same.

This is against a very high level opponent with the fastest hands in the game who can catch you with a counter up top very quickly when you're working the body and is actually waiting to do so.

I saw a video the other day on YT where this guy said that Loma only started going to the body when he turned pro. Anyone who has actually followed his career knows that's complete nonsense and that he's always been a brilliant body puncher and he always works downstairs as well as up top and often consistently too.

    I still say Easter Jr.

Another great body puncher is HW prospect Matin Bakole Llunga.
A- bsolutely devastating blows, and he never telegraphs them by looking down.
