Finished ross never gymless a good read but i have access to a S & C gym at uni so why not. Are there any similar books which go through a complete strength and conditioning routine but with weights in an easy to understand way?
reg·i·men/ˈrejəmən/ Noun: A prescribed course of medical treatment, way of life, or diet for the promotion or restoration of health hardly seems appropriate :think:think
sorry im having a slow day didnt read my own definition. SO yeah are there any good guides to a boxing specific training regimen with weights?
No, there aren't Weight training for boxing is a lot like weight training for other sports. Just a typical strength/power routine alongside your typical boxing skillwork and roadwork.
excellent post, its really not that hard to understand, but you get people wanting to believe ANYTHING except actually putting the effort in.
cheers will do when ive sorted myself out. Ive had a few setbacks and some things have changed but atm my routine is: Sunday:squats bench chins abs monday: light training 5x2 skipping 3x3 pads tuesday:rest Wednesday: strength training morning boxing evening thursday:rest friday:boxing-sparring saturday:boxing some sparring Im just gonna try and stick with this for a bit then add and improve it. I meant in the way that ross builds a plan that has a mix of strength and conditioning but i suppose i could use his never gymless template for a routine but supplement the bodyweight strength excercises with weight based ones. Weird question but why is red meat preferred over chicken/turkey
