He was seriously impressive for a debut boxer. I mean c'mon. He landed the first punch, he staggered Floyd a few times. After seeing that a McGreggor went 10 rounds with an all time elite defensive boxer, and landed 111 punches on him, how would Connor do against other opponents? Who is the best fighter he could beat.
111? Really? I'm a little sceptical about those stats. In all honesty I think it would take Conor too long to get to world level, he's 29 now, clearly has stamina issues, he needs a few 6 round fights, then start going 12 rounds against some journeymen, I think it is too late for him to build up that experience.
Conor is drunk at the post fight presser. Excellent man who just probably made $100 million dollars. This content is protected
I honestly think he could beat malignaggi by sd at this point. I dont think he can beat any actual top 10 welter or 154lber tho.
i think he could beat quite a few fighters if he improves his stamina, dare i say i think he MIGHT be able to get a belt against an opponent with a tailored style... not quite sure what that is tho, i want to say connors timing allows him to work well off the back foot to counterpunch so a slow mexican style plodder is a great option but those guys usually have endless tanks so they would grind him down... ill have to go to the drawing board
Wow! You guys are delusional. I cant think of a single C+ level fighter that he could beat. 40 year old, 2 years in retirement and simply coming forward with his guard up FlIVd stopped him in 10 rounds and he looked on his way out by round 7. This is the light hitting brittle hands FlIVd. I think given 3 months serious training Paulie beats him. Conor simply doesnt have the stamina to survive going into deep waters late. I think right now Pac beats him by ko inside of 6 because hes more naturally an offensive fighter than FlIVd. Conor put on a nice little show with FlIVd now go cash that check and go back to mma before you get hurt. If it was announced that Conor was going to fight a Canelo, Spence, Thurman, Porter etc... 6 months from now id be afraid for his safety.
conor loses to anyone of note at 154 and gets ko by most at 160. he just doesnt have the power to jaw ratio needed at the top levels of boxing.
Mcgreggor did better than Pacquio against an old Mayweather. But he can't beat a C level fighter in boxing? Cmon.
He couldn't beat a light punching defensive boxer who had no choice but to come forward all night (has he even sone this before) who was 40 yo and had been out of the ring (retired) for two years.. Anyone who thinks he has any chance againdt a boxer who is world level is pretty delousional tbh..
The Mayweather who fought Manny isn't what we saw tonight and that one had slipped compared to prime.. Comon... Mc Gregory looked like a joke yes he landed some jabs but he had no power and would be totally destroyed if he actually went in with a real boxer.. Imagine GGG lol...
His size or another smaller fighter? I think a 140 pound Paulie would beat him. I hope the full tapes are released sometime.
Can't see the commission sanctioning that fight either. We don't want another death in boxing (even if it is an mma guy lol).
