I'm talking about the other way though mate, who was great at fighting against a great jab, at taking it from a fighter who uses it as a weapon and removing it from the fight. Anyone spring to mind?

I am a big fan of MAB, but he isn't a name that I considered. When have you noticed him neutralizing the jab effectively amigo?

Tyson used to have fantasic head movement in his prime .Not saying he's the best but he did slip a jab well.

In which fights do you think he did this especially well? I don't think he did it well at all against Oscar, I think he struggled with Oscar's jab truth be told.

Floyd was having fits with DLH's jab whilst it was in operation - but DLH had an exceptional jab..... against everyone else he coped fine. Granted, a lot of his opponents didn't have great jabs, merely good ones.....

Trying to think of a few people from recent times......

    Kostya Tszyu (for some reason)
    Bernard Hopkins
Joe Calzaghe (see Kessler - who has a top jab)

Mike Tyson's style was a pre-emptive remedy for a good jab. Larry Holmes had a great jab but Tyson dealt with it easily. Afterward Holmes claimed he wasn't ready for the fight. That may be true, but Homes on his best day was going to have a very serious problem with Tyson's style.

Do you think Lewis could have controlled Iron Mike with the jab?

I think Lewis would keep Tyson at bay with the jab, and even if Mike got through he would fire rights and uppercuts.

Stylewise Lennox is all wrong for Mike, full stop.

B-Hop comes to mind. He is very good at taking away your best weapon. He took aways Tito's left hook and Pavlik's right hand.

B-Hop is one of the best that I've seen.
