I think you can argue for either of them ducking the other. Maybe Floyd dosent like fighting people on HGH?

Seriously the word 'ducking' has been twisted and taken into so many different forms and obstacles in boxing !
There was a point where mosley ducked margarito, and mayweather !
Besides didnt pacquiao duck mosley..LOL !?

i see the point that he has picked fighters that have seen better days, but this catch weight stuff has to end

as far as i know, he's had exactly one catchweight fight and that was with cotto. much like his "use" of steroids, it seems if enough people say it it suddenly becomes fact

pac and mayweather have had the same number of catchweight fights, it needs to end

Or maybe he doesn't like fighting people he knows has a chance of beating him. Look up Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito and retirement. :hi:

if i were to bet my savings (such as they are) i'd bet on mayweather to. same as i'd have bet on mayweather to beat mosley

mayweather is EXTREMELY effective and brilliant at what he does. he puts on clinics. pac though is brilliant at what he does and that's beat the holy **** out of people that are well and above his natural weight class. he ****s up all shapes and sizes. yes, i think manny is a better athlete and a better fighter

Nah thats not the reason why he ducks fighters, the reason his his "0" if you're a threat to his undefeated record he wont fight you.

You mean he ducked him as his FIRST real test at Welter Weight? Sure, who in their right mind would fight Shane Mosley as your first true WW challenge when you were fighting at below 135 no more than two years ago?

    Like people have already said.

Greatest boxer of this generation = Mayweather.
Greatest fighter if this generation = Pacquiao.

Yeah i will agree on that !
But personally I believe that it is most manny fans that will say eventhough floyd is the best boxer manny is the best fighter. But this is boxing and all that people care about is who is the best boxer, the main reason for why they say manny is the better fighter is to give him some props or some kind of edge over mayweather as most fans have given into the fact that floyd is the better boxer.
LOL if ive said that with any sense !

I'm actually a fan of both, but Mayweather is clearly the better technical boxer...whereas, Pacquiao is clearly the better fighter. Both boxers, but one loves to box...and one loves to fight.

I disagree with the, they only say Pacquiao is the better fighter just to give him props...he is the better fighter, he seems to enjoy fighting. I wouldn't disagree with anyone who says Mayweather is the better boxer, and Pacquiao is the better fighter...not just because that is my opinion, but because these two are the standout boxers of this generation.

Oscar and RJ are not of his generation. Those guys were the kings of the hill in the late 90's. But of the current crop best boxer/technician is Floyd and best fighter overrall is Pacquiao.

Floyd is the most talented all round boxer, but Pac probably takes it on the 'greatness' scale. You can't ignore beating the likes of Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey. Not including taking care of an old De La Hoya and other solid fighters like Diaz, Ledwaba etc

Floyd has a very good resume despite all that's said about him, but it lacks one or two big name rivals along the way.
