Best boxer of this Generation

In his previous fight Hatton dominated the consensus number 2 in his division, and became the first man to stop him. Hatton was undefeated at his best fighting weight.

In his previous fight Cotto had beaten one of the top 5 fighters in his division, and did so despite suffering a horrible cut that must surely have affected his vision. Cotto was undefeated other than a fight where his opponent cheated.

These two choices of opponent for Pacquiao are absolutely above any form of criticism IMO.

Pacq's 'greatness' based off of resume will be the reason that his resume is picked apart by fans and historians for generations to come.(If he is remembered that long in the U.S.)

His limited skills will be talked about and his choice of slow footed and slow handed fighters will be laid bare in the sunlight.

The most noticeable thing will be that he never fought a great technical boxer.There is no Pernell Whitaker type on his resume,not even an Emanuel Augustus or Zab Judah.Mostly just brawling types.The few fighters who were good but not great boxers defeated Pacquiao.
